Condominium records law by jurisdiction

From OpenCondoDocs, the free condominium document library

Every Canadian province and territory and every US state sets rules on how condominium corporations, strata corporations and homeowners' associations give owners and buyers access to their records. The tables below summarize those rules for 64 jurisdictions: who may request records, how quickly they must be provided, the limits on fees, where to complain, and the penalty for not complying. Each summary was checked against the official text of the statute or regulation, between October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026.

These summaries are general information, not legal advice. Each jurisdiction's page links the official text; check it before relying on a figure.
